I have to agree that this doesn't sound like the end of a story, more like something really early on, not necessarily an intro but like a short interlude. Thats irrelevant though and doesn't effect the song's score. The song is great, not like anything I could ever create, even if i wanted to. Keep it up, all your songs sound really good, they just seem to lack their full potential (I say this as I give you a 5 =X)

Soon I'll be working on my director's movie music, and I'll send that in. It should be a lot more improved than the short clips you hear on here. Thanks again!

good overall

I saw "sheik's theme" and immidiately though "this is gonna be badass." Gotta say i was kinda dissapointed, that reverb is on the verge of being annoying but it still adds a cool tone to the song which is what i think you were going for. Its kind empty (it is only piano) so less diversity... but not necessarily a bad thing cause the piano alone sounds good so 4/5 total.

I was merely going for a simple, slower, and sadder version of Sheik's theme. I guess it wasn't too amazing.

Maybe I should write an orchestral version of this to shed this disappointment.

Pretty good work. Sounded like you lost rhytm a few places, hit a few wrong notes and at some points it was overdriven... but hell I couldn't do any better, i gotta program my shit. Has a lot of potential, you seem too eager to post it because it still has those afformentioned errors so 6 for effort, 6 originality cause everyones got a piano tune posted and the chord progression wasn't anything shocking. Etc... etc... 3/5.

Eager? I thought it was pretty good for improv, and I can't really fix it, because I suck at piano, but I needed to lose rhythm for some of it, because I wanted it to be very rubato and atmospheric.
That's why I improvised it instead of programming it. If I programmed it it could have been nice and robotic and with the perfect rhythms and no wrong notes, but that's not what I want.

Very good music. You really oughta put some time into getting some more song on here. The only thing bad about this is the clipping which I didn't hear in the other songs.

Not very complex but chill. Nice and jazzy. At 1'10" those arpeggios kick in. I think you should have kept them going and hit a couple more chords but it still sounds good. Musics all good but its kinda boring. You won't really impress anyone with this and if you expect to, you'd probably do better with a faster tempo or at least mix up the drums some more. Again, the musics good, It'd do well in a flash movie but not much else.

Keep it up, post some more.

I'm no Dr. in Musicolgy, but...

Why do you ask? Personally I say if you ask the answers no. If you do continue this i recommend going to this site and DLing all the drum samples http://hem.passagen.se/lej97/kalava/

The reason is because those drum samples are fuckin weak. Probably FL presets (hell the drum beats weak too but thats another story). You need bass and possibly some more harmony. Moreso bass but you could us a little both. Change it up to, let it flow into something new.

I don't know why I bothered reviewing this... and I don't know why you would post this, its kinda a waste of everyones time but you wanted help and thats all I can do.

Please do us all a favor and post your FINAL versions of songs... and make sure they don't suck.
